Francesca Zaccaria
dancer, author, painter, graduated in Painting at the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa.
For over fifteen years she has been combining her profession as a dancer with the practice of Yoga according to the non-dual Kashmiri tradition and the study of Martial Arts, the Noro/Kinomichi Method (II DAN DNBK Kyoto), and Aikido (II DAN AIKIKAI Foundation Tokyo).
She has worked with the Aldes/Roberto Castello Company, the Abbondanza Bertoni Company, Catherine Diverrès in “Autour de Blowin”, in the Chorus in “Enrico V” by Pippo Delbono, in various Productions of the Teatro dell’Archivolto in Genoa.
In 2005 with her first choreography “Danza per allegorie” she won the JungeHunde/Sosta Palmizi Network prize in collaboration with the Adda Danza Festival and the Junge Hunde Festival Kanonhallen in Copenhagen.
In 2007, together with Giovanni Di Cicco, she founded the Compagnia Dergah Danza Teatro.
Her creations as author “Solo 2007”, “A solo drama” (2013), “The artist falls as fruit and son” (2014), “Erotic carnet” (2018), have been presented in Italy, France and Germany.
Invited to create a piece “Andrii” for Tanzabend 2015 at the Folkwang Institute of Contemporary Dance in Essen-Werden.
In 2016 she choreographed “Bodies Garden” for the sudents of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
Since 2012 she works in France with Cie SIC.12/Gustavo Giacosa taking part in all the creations: “Ponts Suspendus”, “La maison”, “En chemin” and “Terra Levis”.
Currently in Italy she is part of the Authors Aldes with her last creation “Carnet erotico” and collaborates as a teacher and performer for the Company DEOS/Giovanni Di Cicco.
In Switzerland she is a dancer for the Tiziana Arnaboldi Company.
Recently she was part of the cast of “Monte Verità” a film by Stefan Jäger in the role of the dancer Josephine.
